The Fallacy of Failure

Your Website Title

What if I said that failure is a construct of the mind whose only purpose is to give you an excuse to quit?

Your head is probably spinning about as fast as mine did when I first heard these words. Yahweh spoke them to me during a time when situations dictated that I look at the necessity to continue along a certain path. I knew the path I was on was in obedience to what I heard Yahweh say, it just did not seem to be turning out, THE WAY I THOUGHT.

Hitting me, like the palm of my hand thumped on my forehead, I realized that was my problem. I had set an expectation of what the path should look like and not my intention to complete the Word Yahweh had spoken to me. Being reminded of the scripture,

“Looking unto Yahshua the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Hebrews 12:2 KJV

All I could say was– Thank You, Yahshua!

I have a choice to decide how I will see any situation and to set my intention on the completion of His word. There is no choice but to stand in the “Peace that passes all understanding. “ Philippians 4:7.

My heart cried out,

I can not fail!
Failure is only a perception that has not met MY expectation without considering HIS intention.
Change my perspective and failure will never exist!

“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” Thomas A. Edison

  1. Shared with my devotion group. Lots of women feeling failure in various areas of their lives. What a great, poignant, concise piece on never failing and sitting in Him. Thanks Daniel.
